Just in case anybody was waiting with baited breath I finally found the time to finish this thing up and go fishin.
so to summarize I tossed in a new sei 106 upper and lower with solas prop, sei trim cylinders and lines. Ebay transom plate/ gimbal/ bellhousing with new bearing ,bellows, hose and shift cable. I installed dual batteries up front with a perko switch in order to move some weight forward, installed a proper fusebox for the electric downriggers and pot hauler. Also installed a Pertronics electronic ignition with 45,000 volt coil and a couple other things as well as fixing any known issues.
The shakedown went well with just an idle air bleed adjustment or two, the new leg works well and is relatively quiet , it was a nice calm day on the big pacific pond and we put about 2 1/2 hours of runtime on the hourmeter.
