DNA_ARP.jpgGlastron Elect 1.jpgI am in the need of guidance. I have tried to find a wiring schematic for my 10pin DNA ARP On-Off-On rocker switch. I know I have 2 power in the middle and 4 pins on either side. I am making myself crazy trying to trouble shoot NAV / ANC issue. Any help would be grateful.

Adding more information to see if this will help to set off a few light bulbs. My boat is an 05' Glastron SX 175. I sat down with a toner, my laptop, some music and traced a lot of wires. While I understand more about the wires and where they go to I am still confused about this type of On-off-On ARP style switch. Here is a break down of one of my switches. Note this ARP style switch has lit LEDs at the bottom and top of the rocker indicating position on for easier visual aid. What I am looking for as mentioned above is assistance under standing the order of the pins. I used base 1 - 10 as I saw them to write this diagram so please be patient.

Re: Seeing Double Vision 10pin DNA ARP On-Off-on

After Sending lot of emails to different vendors spending, countless hours with a note pad and what looks like a Sudoku series of test I ran to try and understand my 10 Pin ARP style On-Off-On Rocker Switch. Glastron Tech Support finally emailed me back with my answer. So for anyone else who may come across one of these style Switches I hope this helps.

sorry I missed your original post as that's a standard wiring diagram for a 10 pin illuminated switch. Have you found and fixed what ever problem you have with the anc/nav lights?

Yes, I found my way, thank you for the reply. I had 2 issues originally, 1. Bow Docking lights would not work. After a lot of leg work and labeling as I went. I found out I had a blown fuse. on that switch. The other issue and one that gave me major headaches trying to make heads or tails of the 10 pin rocker switch was a miss-wired Nav / Anchor switch that was causing my Navigation Light to run when I flipped the switch to Anchor mode.

I came up with the following diagram to resolve my issue, abet losing the LED light when ANC switch is on.. A fight for another night. New ANC NAV setup 091013.JPG

Re: Seeing Double Vision 10pin DNA ARP On-Off-on

what would you like the led to indicate. Do you want it to light to show that the switch is up or down or do you want it to light to show that the anc/nav lights are on. As the anc light is on in both the up and down position the led will show both up and down unless you use a diode and run the lights of one side of the switch then just use the other side (6-10) to work the led lights. Your original problem sounded more like a bad ground for the led lights in the switch causing a back feed especially if the Nav lights came on (switch to anchor) but were dimmer than when the switch was turned towards the nav side.

Thanks Glenn property of Pam. My lower LED light issue on the rocker pannel is caused by me moving the ANC to Pin 4 in the diagram posted above, I got myself in a corner as Pin 5 is grounded to pin 6 and Pin 1 & 6 are tied up with dash lights and ground respectively. What I need is a texas size switch for all of the functions I want to do.
