Located the SPDPs inside the rear of the starboard and port gunnels of a 1974 outgage BW with twin 1979 Johnson 70 hp 3 cyl engines. The port panel box was vertically attached with a plastic wrap to a board with one screw holding the board upright---hence it was very loose in its position. The starboard panel box was just laying flat with with wires going in all directions.
Asking for any and all ideas how to secure the SPDPs to be easily accessable especially for the fuse from the tilt/trim. Security to me would be keeping the boxes from getting splashed and/or protecting the wires from shorting out.
One idea I have been contemplating is to obtain or build some type of containment plastic or wood container to put them in and secure the containser to the floor of the gunnels. Any body have experience with this placement problem? Zygo
