I am restoring a 1963 razorback ski boat and was wanting to remove the lights and tie down to be able to clean up the paint a little bit and i know someone who will re chrome the light and tie down. The question that i have is. When i go and replace the screws what would be good to use to help seal the holes? I don't really want to use 5200, because i might want to remove the lights and stuff again. any ideas?

I have had good results with Boat Life sealant for parts I want to get apart later.

Pretty much all of the suggestions will work for you.

If you look at 3M's application chart, the 4000 is what is recommended for bonding to metal and fiberglass, the 4200 and 5200 are to bond to plastic and fiberglass but not metal.
