Sealing a leak from the outside.......... Can it be done?

I recently replaced the deck in my aluminum CC and prior to doing so I sealed all my rivits and seams with gulvit..... or so I thought. I have a small leak but a leak none the less between two aluminum sections on my hull. Can this be sealed from the outside or do I need to pull my deck up again.

I know there will be at least one comment about doing it right the first time. So lets get it out of the way early. I'm kicking myself in the butt already. I hope, with all the years of knowledge out there, some one can help.

Thanks in advance.

If you KNOW where the leak is, then, the gluvit you use on the inside, will work just as good on the outside. It has no UV protection so if your hull is NOT painted you might want to use a little paint on it but since it is below the waterline I would not worry about it to much. JB weld makes a AquaWeld product too!!!

my friend...
aluminium can be welded.
but because you are between two sections of hull.......you might be chasing that seapage all the way across the joint.....
