What is a good, or best sealer to use on holes that are drilled into boat transom. Also a good or best adhesive to glue with?

As far as 'glue' is concerned there are so many on the market it's hard to give you even a shot in the dark - what are you trying to glue?

To hold transducer line on boat. So it doesn't get bowed or torn out by water. If Glue strong enough, glue skimmer bracket to hull...
