Sealed oil-shelf life?

I need to change the oil on my 2 motorcycles. I have some sealed oil but it is about 4-5years old. Does oil that is sealed in its original container have a shelf life?

Should be ok to use. Most manufacturers say thier oil has a shelf life of 2 - 5 years so long as it hasn't been exposed to temperature extremes.

I would, and have used oil older than that with no ill effects.
