I have a Johnson Seahorse 3hp model number JW-11 serial number 194017 Manufactured in Peterborough Ontario Canada any idea's on what year it is ? ? ? the motor is in beautiful shape.......

Thanks a lot for the Info (a lot of the guys at work thought it was in the 60's)

Lots of nice Pickerel, Muskie, Bass etc in the French (got a 14lber in there last year took a picture and let er go and make some babies) Going for Speck's this weekend before they close. Have a good one

If I'm not mistaken those little motors start up in gear correct? I heard my uncle talking about an old 3hp they used to have (you wouldn't think of this being a small motor) but he said you better be prepared to sit down when you start that motor because it will make you fall or fall out the boat . So be careful when you use it for the first time or anytime.

Be sure to use a 24:1 fuel mix in that little jewel, Karrick.

Proper plugs are Champion J6C gapped at .030", and set the points at .020".
