I've just read a post that had mentioned seafoam. I haven't heard of this product before. Could someone explain its use and let me know where I can buy it. I understand it's for yur fuel system.
Seafoam is OMC's (Bombardier's) version of decarb additive. They also make the aerosol type, and even have a neat fitting on the engine or fogging and decarbing, tat thier can fits.
It should be an industry standard, ifn ya axe me.
Seafoam is sold at CarQuest and other auto stores.

It is the best product I have ever used (40+ years)for blowing carbon out of old auto engines.

It's cheap and highly effective, but will smoke up the entire neighborhood (really!) if you use it through the carb, which is the strongest method. Just be prepared...
Is it ok to used regularly in my fuel tank. Just as a fuel conditioner to keep my fuel tank clean. My motor has oil injection, so there is only fuel in my tank.
NAPA has it in Florida, 2 types one of the napa numbers is SF16. The spray can is number
DC14. Mfg for Sea Foam Sales Co. PO box 5178,Hopkins. MN., 58343-1178.
Have you every heard of a product from "Revive". I found it yesterday at our local store and it said on the can that it was for decarbing engines. I was just wondering if it was maybe the same kind of product. And what about "Marvel Mystery Oil"? Is this something similar?
