Seaark 2472 horsepower???

I just picked up a used 2472 that has a 140 Mariner jet drive (140hp rated with the jet)...but I have no use for a jet drive lower unit. Thinking of selling the engine and mounting my 90hp 2 stroke Evinrude but concerned that 90hp might not be enough.
Any thoughts?

I have a 2 stroke 90 on a 2072 and it's plenty. It might be marginal on a 2472. I'd love to have a big jet on mine.
