scrap value of inboard

I bought two boats swapped interiors and trailer sold the bad trailer and bad seats got most of my money back now I am left with a boat and parts of a motor (1989 four winns w90 freedom bowrider 170 or 175 hp 4.3 v6) i found someone to take the bad boat hull and motor combined if they dont show up i will be cutting it up to bring to the dump is there any scrap value of the rest of the motor metal (I already took the easy parts like manifolds and the alternator) so do you have any idea if the metal is worth anything? Thanks in advance

$40-50 or so.. Scrap is arould $10/lb... If you did not take the cylinder heads off, I would do that..
The outdrive is worth quite a bit if it is still there also

The motor weighs quite a bit i would rather it just out of my yard but if they dont show up ill call a scrap yard and see what they'll give me but if I sell the windshield and manifolds I will be making money off a trailer and whole interior upgrade so I win either way if they don't show up ill take the starter and gauges steering wheel etc to put on ebay or keep as extras. Thanks for assuring me the metal isn't worthless

The outdrive is worth $500+ if it is there. Comes off in no time too. I would make sure not to scrap that, and also the trim rams, and trim pump. Lots of money in that stuff

The outdrive was gone when we got it still got a heck of a deal $500 for an awesome trailer with surge breaks and whole almost new interior windshield and more parts. already got most of my money back selling the seats that i took out of my boat ($130) and the crap trailer with a bad and different size tries that I had to rewire sold that for $300 after I sell the manifolds and windshield(could take forever xD) I could end up making money on an interior and trailer upgrade! pretty good for my first boat. Now I can have some fun and cut of the boat with the motor I will be scrapping!
