Talk about going from a low to a high . . . the miracle catch by the Hawks, just like what happened against the Giants . . I was thinking were are done . . . then the goal line interception and drawing the Hawks off sides . . .

Lots of folks blaming the play calling at the end, but what if it worked, would it still be bad? Great effort by the rookie Malcolm Butler #21 (who?)

BTW - I'll be going to the parade . . .

Hope the two unbelievable catches by an undrafted shoe salesman, the recovery of baubled ball at the 2yd line and an incredible interception to win the game get more air time then the unsportsman like conduct call (or rather the reason for it) and the brawl in the endzone do.

May be the best matchup SuperBowl game I can remember in recent history. I've quit watching before the end of the game more times then watched the whole game in the last 10-12yrs

Now ya'll enjoy the parade, the snow day(s) and the 80 temps........ I'll be having none of that

Yea, I figured that Seattle would just pound it in and the Patriots would go home with another agonizing loss.

A little side story . . . you see, my brother was there at the game with his Admiral and son. His Admiral was 0-2 on Patriots Super Bowls, having gone with him to both losses to the Giants. So, I (and many other family & friends) were thinking that she is just bad luck for the Pats. Fortunately, family harmony is once again restored, now that she is 1 for 3.

Credit where credit is due . . . that was no easy pick IMO. #21 Malcolm Butler a new found hero . . .

Of course, TV camera coverage at that moment had Brady jumping up and down like a school boy and Richard Sherman about ready to cry . . . priceless and amazing that they got those video bytes.

The only think I can think of about the slant pass is they were looking at getting two plays off.

Slant pass either scores or is incomplete.

If incomplete clock stops and run another play.

They didn't consider the third option on the pass play.


As someone mentioned, one of the best games in recent years.

Could have done without the dancing sharks at halftime.
