I was sand blasting my lower unit for painting and forgot the trim motor was not on. what should i do befor reinstalling my trim motor. I need to flush the sand out.
Hydraulic systems don't like debris of any kind. Something as small as a grain of sand in a check valve will mess it up. I would want to clean, and flush the unit out. You are probably looking at taking the pump apart.
