I purchased two Kastking bait feeders and on both my girlfriend has managed to separate the bail from the real but on further inspection I did see a lot of corrosion for relatively new spinning reels that have been washed pretty regularly after use. I like the bells and whistles and the look of the reel but I've noticed anything more than lightweight the reel seems to struggle with retrieve. I think I'm going to go back to some of the old tried and true companies that will give me the best bang for my buck a good reliable spinning reel for saltwater that can take abuse for about $100. I already have some nice conventional by Penn. Any feedback or input is appreciated.
