This weekend I picked up a "free" (yeah I know, translates to expensive) sailboat. Its a 1964 Converse, 22'. The Hull, for deck, and cabin fiberglass is all in good shape. However, the cockpit of this boat was made from wood. I have read alot on here about replace floors and stringers, (and I have 19' boat that I am in the process of tearing down for that). Was looking on any information on wether due to being a sailboat would the construction be any different, or tips or suggestions. The boat is a shoal keel with bilge and lead balast. Appreciate any suggestions.
