All the oils are changed, the water is drained, the upholstery is polished, the hulls are waxed, the wheel bearings are repacked, the axles are raised and the rubber is off the floor, the covers are on, the batteries are charged and the gas tanks are full and stabilized. They are all snug as a bug in a rug, positioned against the wall in the back of the garage.

That's the good part (I guess). The bad part is that the snowblower was serviced as well and its parked between the Whaler and the SeaRay.

When I finished the work yesterday it was windy and in the 50's. Tomorrow the high is to be 45. Unfortunately, today we broke a record and it hit 80 degrees! I told my son to stop procrastinating and get the winterization done. Today his facebook page showed him cruising down the river with his shirt off. He's a snot.....LOL.

Even though it was an awesome year, its still sad to see the end. With covid cancelling all work activities, we did twice as much boating as usual. Maybe that was enough incentive to stay retired and social distance out on the sandbar.

Got a few more hours on the old float myself this year, 100 hours of run time actually. 28 degrees this morning expecting to hit 20 Sat night fall ran off and left a big gap for winter to slip right in.

Must've been nice.
Covid put me into never before seen mandatory overtime hours.
A couple short holiday weeks of 45 hours.
The rest have been 56 to 68 hours per week on the production floor, starting back on March 8th..
No end in sight as we are busy as heck and can't seen to keep any new hires despite upping their starting wage $6 per hour.
Neither boat ever got wet this year.
Too busy feeding all you guys that weren't going out to eat, and never learned to cook for yourself.

84 hours so far this year. I’ve probably got another month until I need to winterize. It’s been a very mild fall in NC.

I wasn't sure about retirement, but the covid confirmed the decision. The spread thru my old plant was heavy. If I was still working I would either have been infected, or required to be there way more than I would have liked.

The wife lost her job and her business. The good part was that she decided that sunning on the boat's sundeck sure beat working.

Fortunately, our sons are both in essential positions and both could work from home. I feel real sorry for others that were not so fortunate. We all hope that things will get better.
