Sacrificial Anode

Do these ever require replacement?

If so when should they be replaced?
I use my Q4 in the Arabian Gulf which is very salty.

Any advice would be very helpful.

Yes, they do require replacement from time to time.
When they are worn down to 50 or 60% I think, or become inefective.
Yours look to be in good shape. I take mine off once a year and clean the contact areas and also give them a light sanding so remove anything on them.
I replaced the trim one with aluminum just this year as it was an old zinc one and I bought a new high rake prop that hit the old one.
