After asking around I decided to go with Rustoleum topside all over the hull of my trailered whaler, we'll see how it goes. I had 5 coats of interprotect to barrier coat and prime the hull. This is 2 coats of Rustoleum gloss white, one more coat on Wednesday and I should be done. I'm applying a full length keel guard to protect the hull from my rollers. I'm not convinced the rustoleum would survive continuous roller contact.

I think it looks great so far, sure pointed out some spots I missed though!

Sorry to revive a somewhat old thread but I was looking for paint suggestions for an old Whaler. What are you going to do with the interior? I was in Northern Tool today and they have a selection of Rustoleum I have not seen at Lowe's or Home Depot. They had high build primer which helps fill imperfections for body work and then you sand. Also one Walmart near my home has a spray high gloss aqua that might be a good color for the interior. There does not seem to be an inexpensive solution for the insides. I'm very good with spray paint on furniture and can get a great finish on Pinewood Derby cars. What are you going to use?
