This is a pic of the fuel tank bay, theres 4 fiberglass over wood pads the tank rested on and it was also screwed to the stringers on both side, no padding was used that I found when I removed the tank. Is it adviseable to put some kind of padding under the tank on top of the pads? I've read in other posts where guys are using rubber or neoprene padding?
