Rub rail installation tool?

A 2 foot section of my rub rail has come out at 2 different points. I've had some minor rub rail rubber come out in the past and it was a pain to push back in using screwdrivers (like a bike tire). Since it's out in two different spots I might have to pull everything between out in order to get it back to where it belongs. I'm wondering if there's a specific tool that will make getting the rubber rail back in place, rather than using screwdrivers or putty knives. I've googled this but haven't found anything other than other peoples queries about the same thing.

Thanks!

Rub rail is a PITA!!! I agree heat and lubricant is important..... dish soap works too.
