I overheated my mercury 200. has good comp. does start, but now runs rough and somkes more than usual.could the overheating caused electronic problem.like spark wire and so on. the spark plugs are wet. do these engines have oil rings. thanks.
make sure its smoke and not a steam type of smoke ... if ya overheated it may have caused a leak in the headgasket,,, check for water in the cylinders... and what are the readings on the cylinders??
