Rotted Motor Mount

Just like every other post here I started one thing and end up having a total redo on my hands. So its 1989 wellcraft 170 classic, My problem is the front motor mount were it attached to the hull seemed to be a 1.5" plywood fiberglassed in. But the problem is thats what it seemed like because it was rotted and not much left. But it seems that just the edges touch of the plywood (there is about a 1" flat spot to sit on) wouldnt this cause alot of weight on just 2 spots. Or is this the way its supposed to be I was planning on just gluing down plywood with 4200 and glassing in

Zero your post is hard to follow. I'm not sure where sentences start and stop. Regardless, rotten motor mounts mean rotten other stuff. Check my signature and read through my site, you'll get the picture. You have wood and glass replacement in your future if you keep the boat. Gluing more crap on top won't make it safe.

Sorry I guess it does sound like a bable, let me try again. I have torn out floor and stringers and am replacing both due to rot. My issue is that the front engine mount was also rotted but due to the fact all that was left for the engine mount was the fiberglass shell Im having a hard time figuring out the correct replacment setup. After cutting out the fiberglass shell of the front mount it appears that it was a 1.5" sheet of ply wood that was incased and that is what the engine was lag bolted to. It seems it was just a 2 foot piece of ply that 1" on each edge was sitting on the hull leaving the room for water drainage to the bildge. Does this seem correct? I was planning on just cutting a new piece of ply and gluing to hull with 4200 and the incasing in glass again but wasnt sure if it would cause hard spots were the ply sat on hull (because just 1" shelf on the sides) I hope this makes more since just wanted get some opinions before I do this
