Good luck on the procedure, Coop. You need a good pair of shoulders to bear all the stuff we're throwin' at ya.
I would recommend doing PT to try a correct any weakness or lack of movement.
My opinion is to stave off any surgery until it is absolutely necessary.
Even if you need surgery the pt will make it stronger and rehab should be a little easier.
