On a whim I picked up a new rope and vinyl bag to store it. Did this actually mount somewhere inside the engine's cowl? If so, how did it attach?

On a whim I picked up a new rope and vinyl bag to store it. Did this actually mount somewhere inside the engine's cowl? If so, how did it attach?
Can't say exactly where on that motor, but some had a little red box mounted on the pan, inside the hood. Some had a plastic pouch glued inside the hood.
