Anyone tried using roll on bed liner after replacing the plywood floor? Would resist water much better would it not? Not sure I want carpet back in when I get to replacing it.

Check out Durabak. Similar but designed for marine use.

I personally have not done it, but I know a guy that did and he swears it is the best flooring for a boat. Super easy to clean and unlike fiberglass, easy to patch if someone gouges it.

Heavy marine vinyl floors are increasing in popularity on pontoon boats. It has to be installed with a heavy roller and the correct mastic (glue.)

That's the preferable stuff to use.

You could do the roll on floor like what is used in pickup trucks, but the appearance will never be as good as a vinyl floor.

Nice thing about that over carpet is that it's easier to get rid of the fish smell. Course one thing about carpet is anti-skid. If your bedliner is of the sticky feeling type then it too may prevent things from sliding around all over the deck.

Anything's better than carpet.

something weatherproof and hoseable and not slippery when wet.

Vinyl covers are good, too.
