I have taken the inside apart and pulled the carpet out and now for the rest..

What is the easiest way to get the boards out without messing up the hull? The fiber glassing that was done is so bad, I just want to make sure I go about this the right way and not screw up the boats hull.

Re: Ripping the Floor out?

What size boat are you asking about, and by by boards are you talking about rotton plywood covered with a sorry coating of fiberglass? If so pick the softest section of the deck and use a reciprocating saw at the shallowest angle you can get. Cut a small exploratory hole to give yourself an idea of the between hull and deck configuration. Wear a mask and eye protection and cover your body. If you have a helper have them try and follow your work with vacuum. Fiber glass cut or sanded fibers are not fun in the skin
