Rinker fiesta

I have a 93 rinker fiesta 260 and have noticed a hole inside the steps to the cabin.....should it be there or should l fibreglass it up....thanks

Designed in drain to prevent water from being trapped?

I think the fact that it's a proper hole with not jagged edges it must have been built in

I beleive it's called a limber hole. Designed to allow water to pass and make it's way to the bilge.
