Rinker differences

O.K., here's a good one for ya...ANYBODY know what would be the difference between the Rinker Captiva 232 & the Captiva 236 ???? I've tried alot of different resources but, nothing....HELP!

Looks like a model change as from what I could find they are both same length/width.

Would need to know the year (*hint*) you are comparing to confirm.

The 236 was Rinkers first try into the entry level go-fast boats. The cuddy is smaller (not as tall). The 236 didn't go over very well so they increased the height of the cuddy and changed the seating and called it 232.

236 has 2 buckets and a single row rear seat
232 has 2 buckets and a wrap around rear seat

The difference is 4. I am sorry, please forgive me, but I couldn't help myself ... especially after alldodge gave a good explanation.

THANKS Guys...that helps..alot! I need to replace the "canvas" on my 2005 Captiva 232. Found a supplier that has a NEW set for a great price but has it listed as for the 236. now I'm confident it'll fit the 232 too (pun intended). Gonna place the order now...THANX !! & aspeck, that WAS funny!

Misterbreeze, I also need new Canvas for my 2004 Rinker. What supplier did you find. That only place I can find mine listed says they aren't taking orders.

Hi KD4UPL, You can try Great Lakes Skipper, they bought alot of Rinker"s inventory. I'm pretty confident that mine will fit, but I'll be happier after I see!
