rinker boat sitting on trailer

I just purchased a 2006 Rinker Captiva 226. We have put it in the water 3 times and have the same problem each time we reload. It goes on the trailer fairly easy (the last bit of cranking gets tough). When we pull out of the water - 1 side of the boat clearly has a couple of inches clearance above the trailer fender, other side almost touches the trailer. We have tried putting the trailer in deeper, but that didn't help. HAS Anyone experienced this? Or any ideas on what to check? Thanks!

If the keel is sitting centered on the keel rollers, you need to adjust the bunks or rollers on the low side to raise the boat a tad. If the boat is actually shifted to one side of the trailer or the other (actually off-center), then you need to work on the loading technique.

Yes, it seems to be on straight. Next time we have it off, I will have to see what is involved in possibly adjusting the bunks.

....I suspect you are putting the trailer in TOO deep causing a severe angle to the bow stop while the stern is still floating.

Assuming that the bunks/rollers are adjusted evenly, install a self-centering roller in the aft most centerline position to center the keel as the hull approches the trailer. The stern should not be floating as the hull reaches the bunks. :)
