Hopefully this won't get moved.. It really is about boat restoration...
Place a couple of cheap 110v electric heaters under your hull. The aluminum will act as a heat dissapater and your entire hull will warm to a comfortable working temp suitable for using glues, gluvit, paint, etc. in cold weather.
I discovered the is quite by accident. I had a small heater sitting under the bow to keep me warm when I noticed that the hull of the boat where I put the heater was warming up. Right about then, the light bulb went on! I went to HD and got three more and set them up under the keel and it worked!!!
I put down Gluvit in 38 degree weather and it went off right on schedule, 4 hours after mixing.
This was just too cool to keep to myself.
