Restoration newbie help

Just bought a 71 Starcraft with a 3.0l 4cyl because it was an eye sores I tore the floor out and cleaned it now what is my next step? should I put in a floor or see what work the motor needs any advise is helpful as I sad I'm new to this here are a some pics. Is it ok to put this type of fuel tank under the deck?

Welcome aboard. I would try to get the motor running first off. If it runs, go from there. On the fuel tank, I don't believe it will fit under the floor. It's a bit tall. It will fit under the bow though.

Check the restos in the Starcraft stickies. There are a few Holidays builds in there. Have fun!
