resin taking forever to dry

I am doing some rough work on the bildge area of an MFG - rough work that will be covered by the floor...anyhow, my first glass job, I bought a kit from Walmart - Bondo brand cloth/resin.

Anyhow, I mixed according to the directions, but after 24hrs, the resin is still very wet on the cloth. Did it not catalyze right? will it eventually dry and harden?

I did this glass job to strenthen the boat, not to patch a hole...so I want it to cure strong...

What did the directions say as how to catalyze?
Did you stir scraping the container sides and bottom?
