Request for info on my 3.5hp Mariner outboard

I have just bought an old Mariner 3.5hp two stroke outboard engine which doesn't run at the moment.
Does anyone have any information on how to find the year of this engine so i can start trying to get a repair and service manual?
It has a plate on the side which says: Mariner 3.5 642 S 015030

Comes up as:

3,5 M 642-006501 - 642-016095 1978

Now i can take it to bits and clean the carburettor.

Cleaned and now it runs. Perfect. Just hope it doesn't break as it looks like most of the parts are no longer made.
