Repowering

My Aquasport 172 CC has 1989 90hp OMC. I am repowering with a 1998 130hp OMC.
Will the boats wireharness plug that fit the 90hp fit the 130hp?

I think they changed the plug somewhere in the mid-90's.

The changed the wiring harness in 1996.

Check on-line, I think there may be an adapter to mate old harnesses with new ones...
