I have a 19', 1990 Baja bowrider with the typical seat backs on port and starboard. The original wood wasn't in bad shape but the manufacturer used standard steel T-nuts in the plywood and bolted them to the hull with stainless bolts. The T-nuts have corroded away and I am now replacing the original 3/8" pressure treated plywood with 1/2" pressure treated plywood. Does anyone have a good way to get the new plywood to form to the contour of the hull before I go ahead and put the foam and fabric back on?
