My question is do I get a fuel pump that has 2 fuel lines coming out and connect one to each carb or one that has 1 line coming out and connect it to the current fuel manifold. The reason that this was suggested to me was that the manifold has 3 lines out of it and one of those lines acts in place of a choke by going to the cylinder I think. The other 2 go to the carbs.

I don't think they make a two line out pump, the third nipple on the manifold, is for the primer solenoid, if not used , it is to be plugged.

Maybe confusing with the need for the pump to have a pulse hose ??????

The diagram below is from the parts list for the "ordinary pump ( #0433388)
It shows the fuel hose #18 to the manifold and the pulse hose #22

Two hoses #12 are the fuel hoses to the carbs. The spare manifold nipple is shown capped #17 but if that is capped i dont know how the primer pump /choke is fed.

If it don't have an electric primer a manual primer is fed off the bottom carb by way of a fitting that screws in to feed the manual one,( 326467 ). But isn't your model electric start with primer?
