I have decided to replace my failed VRO pump with a standard carburetor. I do not mind mixing and the VRO has caused problems any way. I can not find out where to mount the new carb on the engine. I have heard and read on the left side, sorry I was in the USAF not the Navy so it is left to me.
Thanks for any assistance.

The replacement FUEL PUMP mounts on the port side of the top cylinger !--It mounts with 2 screws ( 10-24-NC ) and a gasket.-The pulse port plug inbetween the screw holes must be removed.--Plug the pulse port where VRO got it's pulses.

Thanks racerone.. another question. I have been told that it is better to install a standard fuel pump on my motor that has one fuel line out vs 2. The reason was is that there is no choke on this motor, there isn't, and one of the three lines coming from the current manifold acts as a choke. I would install a single outlet fuel pump and connect the out line to the current fuel manifold vs putting on a double exit fuel pump and putting one line to each carb..
Thoughts??
