I can think of two good reasons...... Galling (SS) and galvanic corrosionReplacing my Insta-Trim actuators since one is leaking.
Curious why they are installed with a plastic pressed pin at the pivot points? Seems like a stainless bolt/nylock nut would be much easier. Is there a good reason to not go that route?
Because I bought 2 new actuators...Why not unscrew the 2 piece cylinder and replace the two O rings ?
