1986 E60TLCDS Swivel Bracket

I need to purchase a swivel bracket and found the part number is 0389334. Does anyone know if other part numbers are compatable? The motor has tilt & trim.

I've searched the site but coming up short. Is there instructions on the removal of the swivel bracket? Is there more to it than removing the 4 bolts at the button?

There are more than 4 bolts to take that off. That is a serious job to take that off get a manual for it.

I am pretty sure you'll have to pull the powerhead to get at the upper mount bolts. Gotta drop the lower unit, too, to get the shift rod out of the way.

I?m replacing the swivel bracket and found item number 31 in the link below is cracked on the top on one side. There are three bolts that hold it on to the exhaust adaptor. The crack is in the rounded area of the part so one bolt still holds the cracked part and the other two the rest. Not sure what all this part does but their $100 - $120 and I don?t want have to shell it out if I can get by using it with a crack?

Its a 1986 Evinrude E60TLCDS
