replacing steering cable on 14' fibreglass

My steering cable looks like it needs to be replaced soon . What kind of cable can be used ? is there a special marine cable or can i use clothesline as that looks like the same or is it different? Thanks

hi boater, i went to home depot and matched up the cable . it was the same and works fine
