Replacing old carpet

I am finishing restoration of my 1993 Bayliner Capri. Almost everything is finished. However the floor carpet that i installed at the edges looks not very professional and a little uneven which is more visual because i kept the old wall carpet. Is there a good link with visuals on how to make carpet installation more professional. Thank you.

Gaps between the new and old carpet. Cut carpet fuzz. Put a little clear gorrilla glue in the gap and just tuck the carpet fibers in the gap gently so the glue doesn't soak though.
