you did'nt mention what model you have. most swing keels either have a cable fastened to the counter swing or more commonly to the trailing edge near or at the bottom. the counter swing may have access to the connection from inside the boat where the other requires lowering the keel at least enough to get the connection point out of the trunk. easiest way would be with the boat in a lift, but most of us don't have that luxury, so the next best thing is in the water..
