I have installed a Cobra MR F300 BT Bluetooth handset in my boat BUT.. the fuse that came in the inline fuse holder was dropped and broken.... The fuse is a T2AL250VP glass fuse that is about 3/16" in diameter and 3/4" long.. I cannot find a replacement anywhere.. I have contacted Cobra but have not received any replies.. I would like to replace the inline fuse holder with one that is a standard size and uses standard glass fuses that can be obtained locally. Would a standard 250v 2 amp glass fuse with holder work or is the original T2AL250VP fuse something unique that must be used?

You can use any 2 amp fuse of the same length and diameter.

Go to an Advance Auto or Pep Boys and buy a 2 amp fuse. There are two different sizes in the glass fuses. Buy both and take the one you don't back at a later date.

The glass in-line holders cause a lot of problems over time. Got rid of all the glass fuses on the boat. Replaced everything with ATC fuses. Used the waterproof ATC in-line holders for everything not connected to the buss.
