I just priced a set of replacement seats for my '01 Triton TR20. OMG! cut off your leg and send them your first born! Dealer told me; $650 ea for driver and passenger seat, $450 for slide-in middle step seat.... That's just crazy. Priced them two years ago, $450 for all 3 and $300 ish for skins....

Can anyone advise where I can purchase replacements or skins? or who manufactures them for Triton? Has to be a better deal out there than $1750

Thanks,

Clay

I picked up two yards of white marine vinyl from my local upholstery shop for $40 after tax and a 2'x2' square of seat padding for $3.50.

if your seats are wood framed and you can run a saw, and a nail gun, you can rebuild them yourself super cheap.

my nailgun is just a $20 harbor freight special and it works just fine.

I hate to be the voice of unreason. These people have to pay people to sew the covers. They have building costs. They have insurance and electricity, ect, ect, ect. I am a mechanic always have been. I went to open a shop and was told the building I was going to rent was 2500 a month. Due to cost I went to a forklift company and work there. I was going to have to make 5000 dollars a month before I even got paid for my work. Business owners have to make a living to. They have to be abel to absorb no charge work, IE rework mistakes, misunderstandings and sometimes just customer stupidity to stay afloat. I used to be one who said these people must be insane untill I was going to be one.
