Replacement Mounting Bracket for Lowrance Elite-5 HDI

I don't know how it happened, but the mount for my Lowrance Elite-5 broke. It is the part that is adjustable, letting you tilt the unit back and forth. The part that the main unit releases from when you take the main unit off the boat. It would be great to know the name of that guy, and greater to know the part number and where to get a replacement.

Try lowrance themselves.They should list all the replacement parts and cost.

The Lowrance 10027-001 is a bracket for the Mark-5 and Elite-5 models for use with the Elite-5, Elite-5m, Elite-5x, Mark-5x, Mark-5x Pro.

Thanks Rosco, that's exactly what I was after. I sent a note to Lowrance, but haven't heard from them yet. Now I may be able to use my finder this weekend.

While searching around, I came across the RAM ball style mounts. They're $50 for the 1.5" complete mount. I'm wondering if I'd be better off getting one of those. If the original mount breaks again, I'd be money ahead. Does anyone have an opinion about whether one is better than the other?
