Would anyone have any advice on how to replace the hinged backrest on a 2003 Croenline 180BR? The safety snap strap that keeps it from flipping up in the wind broke going down the highway and it apparently flew off. I never even realized it until I got to the lake so it's lost for good. I don't know if I could find a used one from a junkyard or if I will have to build a new frame from scratch and have it upholstered.

this is the answer.

However, It's a 20 year old boat you may have to replace most of the upholstery to get it to match
Thanks Scott. I pretty much figured I'd have to build out my own frame. I guess I was hoping there might be something in a salvage yard but that'd probably be a miracle.

You can try calling Lanier Marine Liquidators in Dawsonville, GA, but you're probably going to end up having to get one made.

Thanks. I can build the frame myself and I have found Captain Dave's in Anderson SC who say they can cover it. Probably my best bet.
