Replace Gunwale rod storage

1988 Wellcraft Fisherman<br /> Love this boat. I wanted to treat her nice and replace the under gunwale rod holders. They are cracked and the sun tore them up, very brittle. Anyone know where to get replacements?<br /> Thanks, Dead Eye

The gunwale rod holders are an insert that holds two rods each. About 4ft long\12in high\6in deep.<br /> Thanks , Dead Eye

I have the same problem with my rod holders-- could not find them anywhere? 1988 Seamaster WA by Renken. to have them fabricated they wanted about 800.00 To much!!! <br /><br />Cool It

Dead Eye,<br /><br />not sure if this is what you were looking for, but search Flush Mount Rod Boxes on eBAY for 125$ or try http://www.marinesurplusinc.com/ . Let us know how they work, so we can decide if it's worth it. They are 55-1/2" x 16", not sure of the depth.<br /><br />regards
