Replace floor and change boat to center console

I have a 1982 bass boat that hasent been used for over 10 years its been outside with a cover but the cover was torn so perty much out in the open.
I plan to replace the floor and then i saw some other rebuilds that changed the boat layout to a center console so i was thinking i would like to do the same thing.
I and very handy with tools and i have made furniture and rebuilt several cars in the past but the boat rebuild is new to me.
i just dont know where i can find some guidlines on how far to the front of the boat i should mount the console.
also how to move the throttle control and stering i have a few photos
