I've rescued a Glasstron Carlson CV-23 that has been sitting in a field for a few years. the bunkboards are rotten and the brackets are VERY rusted. I've seen some really good ideas on how to jack the boat to replace on land but need some help with figuring out the best material and the correct brackets to replace the old with. Thanks to this forum I now am aware of issues using galvanized brackets with PT wood and was thinking about using the new composit lumber. Does anyone have any recomendations on this?
