Repairing Floor and Seats in 16' Lund

I have a 1980's vintage Lund open v-hull fishing boat. It has carpeted plywood flooring in it that needs replacing. The problem I have is the aluminum "seats" and stuff is screwed down on top of the plywood and riveted into the sides of the boat. It looks to me like I'd need to drill out all the rivets to get the seats out to get to the floor.

If anyone has advice I'd appreciate it. If I do that I might want to start over with the layout of the boat. How does one deal with all the rivet holes if they are not re-used?

Thanks for looking

your seats are structural to the boat. they keep the side from being aluminum foil. hopefully floor, was installed around them.

Unfortunately the seats are installed on top of the floor. That is the frustrating part. I suppose I can cut the floor into pieces and pull it out from under the seats. Putting it back together I may need to add more stringers so all the pieces land on stringers. There would be no way around this other than taking the seats out which involves taking them off the side of the boat.

I've seen people refer to plastic material instead of plywood for the floor. Any thoughts?

Thanks for your help. I assume seal plywood is marine plywood.
